Refund Policy
Effective Date: 03.23.2025
At BengalKitten, we are committed to providing healthy, well-socialized Bengal kittens and an exceptional customer experience. Please read our refund policy carefully before placing an order or reservation.
1. Reservation Deposits
To reserve a kitten, a deposit is required.
Deposits are generally non-refundable because the kitten is removed from availability once reserved.
If you choose to cancel your reservation, your deposit will not be refunded unless otherwise required by applicable law.
In certain circumstances, and at our sole discretion, your deposit may be transferred to another available or future litter.
2. Final Payment
The remaining balance must be paid before pickup or delivery, unless another payment arrangement has been agreed to in writing.
Failure to complete payment by the agreed deadline may result in cancellation of your reservation and forfeiture of your deposit.
3. Health Guarantee
Every kitten is examined by a licensed veterinarian before leaving our care and is provided with age-appropriate vaccinations, deworming, and health records.
If a licensed veterinarian determines that your kitten has a serious congenital or hereditary condition that existed before the date of purchase, you must notify us within the time period stated in your purchase agreement and provide written veterinary documentation.
Depending on the circumstances, we may offer one of the following remedies:
A replacement kitten when available.
A partial or full refund, at our discretion.
Another mutually agreed resolution.
4. Veterinary Examination
We strongly recommend that your kitten be examined by your own licensed veterinarian within 72 hours of pickup or delivery.
If a serious health concern is identified during this examination, contact us immediately before pursuing any major treatment whenever possible.
5. Refund Eligibility
Refunds may be considered only in the following situations:
We are unable to provide the kitten you reserved.
A veterinarian confirms a qualifying congenital or hereditary illness covered under our health guarantee.
We cancel your order for reasons within our control.
6. Non-Refundable Situations
Refunds will not be issued for:
Change of mind.
Allergies or family circumstances.
Housing or landlord restrictions.
Failure to follow veterinary recommendations.
Illness, injury, or accidents occurring after the kitten leaves our care that are unrelated to a pre-existing condition.
Normal behavioral adjustments associated with relocating to a new home.
7. Shipping and Transportation
Shipping, transportation, delivery, and related travel costs are non-refundable once services have been booked or completed.
If transportation is delayed due to weather, airline restrictions, or circumstances beyond our control, we will work with you to arrange a new delivery date.
8. Order Cancellations
If we determine that placing a kitten with a buyer would not be in the kitten’s best interest, we reserve the right to cancel the sale. In such cases, any payments made, excluding non-recoverable expenses where permitted by law, may be refunded.
9. Refund Processing
Approved refunds will be processed using the original payment method whenever possible.
Please allow 5–10 business days after approval for the refund to be processed. Processing times may vary depending on your financial institution.
